# My Current Podcast Listening
*updated 21 April 2025*
**The 'A' list** - the podcasts I pretty much listen to without fail:
1. **Oh God, what now?** - a British view on politics from the left-of-centre, with a very 'remain' ancestry.
2. **Question Everything** - the quite excellent look at the state and future of journalism in the US, hosted by Brian Reed (This American Life and S-Town).
**The (nearly) 'A' List** - where I listen to most episodes:
1. **The Daily** from the New York Times - I probably don't need to explain this one.
2. **Today in Focus** - (this is meant as a compliment) The Guardian's version of 'The Daily'.
3. **Politics Weekly America** from The Guardian, basically what it says on the tin.
4. **The Tip Off** - an excellent UK pod where each episode deep dives into a news story from the journalists point of view. It seems to be on an extended break.
**The 'B' list** - sometimes yes, sometimes no:
1. I'm embarrassed to say, **This American Life** - the stalwart, the original. Some of my favourite audio has been produced by the TAL team. If in doubt, listen to Ep. 129 Cars.
2. **Serial**, again from the producers of TAL. Now owned by the NY Times.
3. **Politics Weekly UK** from The Guardian. The sister to the US version above.
Are there any you'd recommend?
