# Pinsta pinhole: St. Ives harbour, Cornwall *8 May 2025* ![A Pinsta pinhole photograph of St. Ives harbour, Cornwall](250508_St_Ives_harbour.webp) Having a few days away in St. Ives, Cornwall, has been the ideal opportunity to finally get to grips with the Pinsta pinhole camera. The camera itself is super simple, but it took me a while to get used to the exposure. I'm shooting on to Harman Direct Positive Paper, which is very contrasty, unless you pre-flash, which I'm not. If you don't nail the exposure it's very easy to blow out everything, not just, the highlights! I'm pleased with this shot. I've been looking for scenes where the long-exposure highlights some movement in the scene. Here the boats were rocking gently during the two-minute exposure.
